Can I invoice via Paidin if I have a business prohibition, payment remarks or wage garnishment?
Yes, you can invoice via Paidin even if you have a business prohibition, payment remarks, wage garnishment or a previous bankruptcy. The invoice is issued in Paidin's name and under Paidin's F-tax status, and you are employed by us for the duration of the assignment. It is not you who runs the business, so your financial history does not stop you from sending invoices.
Why does this work?
- The invoice is issued in Paidin's name, not yours. Your client's counterparty is Paidin.
- You do not need your own F-tax certificate; invoices go through Paidin's.
- Your compensation is paid out as regular salary, with tax and employer contributions handled by Paidin.
What about a business prohibition?
A business prohibition stops you from running a business, not from being employed. As an umbrella employee you are employed by Paidin during the assignment. If you are unsure what your specific decision covers, check with the Swedish Enforcement Authority (Kronofogden) before taking on assignments.
What about wage garnishment?
A garnishment decision applies at Paidin just as with any employer: if the Enforcement Authority has decided on wage garnishment, Paidin is required to deduct the garnished amount from your salary before payout. You can invoice as usual, but part of your salary goes to the Enforcement Authority according to the decision.
Payment remarks and previous bankruptcy
Payment remarks and a previous bankruptcy do not affect your ability to use Paidin. It is Paidin that carries the invoice towards your client, not you.
