Can several people share the salary from one invoice?

Yes. If several people worked on the same assignment, you do not need to send one invoice each. Whoever owns the invoice splits it by percentage, and each person gets their own salary, their own payslip and their own payment to their own account. The customer sees one invoice and one amount.

How do I split an invoice?

The person who creates the invoice adds the participants using their share codes and sets the percentage for each one. Your own share is whatever remains, so the total is always 100 percent.

The share code looks like PAY-XXXX and is found under Settings, where you can also copy it or replace it with a new one. The code only grants the right to receive a share of an invoice, never access to your account or your details.

At most eight people can share an invoice, including you as the owner, and shares can be set with two decimals. The split is locked once the invoice is sent.

What does it cost?

The service fee is calculated on your own share, not on the whole invoice. Each participant therefore gets the tier their own share lands on.

An example. Three people split an invoice of 60,000 kronor excluding VAT equally, so 20,000 kronor each. Each of them then pays 3.6 percent on their share. The invoice total would have given 2.9 percent, but that is not what applies: the fee follows the share.

This means it is no cheaper to join forces on one invoice than to invoice separately. The rule exists precisely so that the fee reflects what each person actually invoices.

Does the first invoice free offer apply?

Yes, and it follows the person rather than the invoice. If this is your first invoice with Paidin, your own share carries no service fee, even if the other participants have invoiced before. Their shares are unaffected.

What cannot be shared?

In this version, an invoice cannot be split if it has

• FastPay, meaning salary paid in advance of the customer's payment
• a ROT or RUT tax deduction
• expenses
• a currency other than Swedish kronor

If you try to split an invoice with any of these, Paidin tells you right away and explains why. Invoice as usual in that case, or split the assignment into one invoice per person.

When do we get paid?

Just as usual: the salary is paid out once the customer has paid the invoice. Each participant receives their own payment on their own share, and their own payslip with tax, holiday pay and occupational pension calculated on that share.
